Collection: Rapunzel

Rapunzel Naturkost is one of Europe's leading organic manufacturers. It all started very small: in 1974, Joseph Wilhelm and Jennifer Vermeulen founded a self-sufficient community on a farm with a small health food store in Augsburg, Bavaria.

Over the company's more than 45-year history, it has developed into an international family business with over 450 employees and around 550 vegetarian organic products. More than half of these products are manufactured and packaged at the headquarters in Legau.

Rapunzel was founded out of a deep desire to help create a healthier and fairer world. We want to cultivate the land sustainably so that it remains worth living in for future generations.

For Rapunzel, growing and producing organic food also includes the economical use of energy and resources.

"In terms of packaging, energy supply, and logistics, we do not consume more than is necessary; we use 100 percent renewable energy and have installed solar modules on all roof surfaces. In addition, we believe that ecological sustainability always requires economic and social sustainability."

HAND IN HAND is a fair trade program developed by Rapunzel together with HAND IN HAND suppliers and independent experts. From the very beginning, it has combined the ideas of fair trade and organic farming.

The fair trade program is complemented by the HAND IN HAND fund, through which Rapunzel supports eco-social projects. With its own cultivation projects, Rapunzel promotes organic farming worldwide.
