Yerba Mate Tea – 250 g

Yerba mate tea is native to South America. Traditionally known by indigenous peoples as the “herb of the gods,” it is called “cowboy coffee” by modern-day Gauchos. Due to its high caffeine content, we recommend drinking it in the morning.

Preparation: We recommend steeping it in water at 70–80°C (hotter water may scald the tea, significantly reducing its flavor). Traditionally, the cup is filled 2/3–3/4 full with mate, but we suggest starting with 1–2 teaspoons. The tea can be steeped multiple times.
