Yerba Mate Tea – 125 g

Yerba mate tea is native to South America. Traditionally known by Indigenous peoples as the “herb of the gods,” it is referred to by modern-day Gauchos as “cowboy coffee.” Due to its high caffeine content, we recommend drinking it in the morning.

Preparation: We recommend steeping it in water at 70–80°C (hotter water may scorch the tea, greatly diminishing its enjoyment). Traditionally, the cup is filled 2/3–3/4 full with mate, but we recommend trying 1–2 teaspoons to start. The tea can be steeped multiple times.
