Sencha is a green tea made from the upper leaves of the Camellia sinensis tea plant. It has a mildly grassy, sweet flavor. The first sip may taste astringent, typically transitioning from sour to sweet. Preparation: Steep 5g of tea in 1.5 dl of water at 70°C for 2 minutes. It can then be steeped several more times.
