Popcorn - 500 g - organic

Corn is one of our oldest grains. It originates from Central America, where indigenous peoples used it in many different ways. Among other things, they also popped it.

Corn and popcorn quickly spread around the world. Their simplicity and low cost helped drive their popularity. The first popcorn machine was made in the 19th century, and popcorn has remained popular ever since.

Popcorn is made by heating the kernels until the water inside them boils, creating internal pressure that causes the kernels to burst open.

Popped corn’s flavor and texture are influenced by the preparation method, as well as any seasonings and other ingredients added.

Directions: Pop the corn kernels in a popcorn maker or in a covered pot over a fire. Season the popcorn, or toss it in cold-pressed oil or melted, seasoned plant-based margarine.
