Buckwheat - 500g - organic

Buckwheat originally comes from Central Asia. It reached us during the migration period. Before the 20th century, it was mainly eaten as porridge by poorer farming communities, but later it disappeared entirely from our diets. Only in the past few years have we started to rediscover it. The unusual, triangular, grayish-brown seeds have a distinctive aroma that may seem strange at first, but with the right seasoning it is easy to get used to and enjoy. It pairs wonderfully with walnuts and basil. Buckwheat is not technically a cereal (it belongs to the knotweed family), but it is very similar to cereals in appearance, nutritional value, and how it can be used.
