Plant origin: Madagascar

Extraction method: Steam distillation of Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora) leaves.

Botanical background: Ravintsara, also known as the camphor tree, can grow up to 15 metres tall. Its evergreen leaves are oval, glossy and dark green.

History: It originally comes from Japan and was later introduced to Madagascar, but only the people of the latter country made it an essential part of their culture.

Suggested use: to fragrance a room.

Precautions for use:

Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Use of this product is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
