Cinnamonnum zeylanicum: 100% pure and natural

Main constituents: eugenol.

Possible allergenic components: benzyl benzoate, cinnamyl alcohol, cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, limonene, linalool.

Plant origin: Madagascar

Extraction method: steam distillation from the young branches of the Ceylon cinnamon tree (Cinnamonnum zeylanicum).

Botanical background: the cinnamon tree can grow up to 12 metres tall, and its lance-shaped leaves up to 12 cm long. The cinnamon tree is native primarily to three countries: Madagascar, India and Sri Lanka.

History: cinnamon tree bark has been used since ancient times. It is widely used in cooking to flavour spices, drinks and food.

Precautions for use: Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. This product is not recommended for children under 3, pregnant women or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing essential oils to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not use undiluted on the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
