Organic Bergamot Essential Oil – 10 ml

Extraction method: Cold-pressed from the peel of the bergamot (Citrus bergamia) fruit.

Botanical background: The bergamot tree grows to around 5 metres tall and belongs to the citrus family. The bergamot fruit is dark green, pear-shaped, and about the size of a small orange.

History: The word bergamot is of Turkish origin and means “queen of pears”. Its main growing region is Calabria, in Italy’s far south-west.

Aromatherapy use: Creates a cleansing, refreshing sensation with tonic, fruity notes.

Precautions for use:

Flammable. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. This product is not recommended for children under 3, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is safer to avoid applying cosmetics containing this essential oil to the skin before sunbathing or using a tanning bed. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. Essential oils are recommended for external use only.
