Originating in central-southern Italy, its name comes from the word “fuso,” meaning spindle. It consists of three spirally twisted strands, making it ideal for holding all types of sauce. Traditionally, it was wrapped around thin wires or knitting needles and then dried. An excellent choice for any kind of sauce, pasta salads, or even soups.
