Amaranth - organic - 500 g

Amaranth is a mild-flavored, versatile grain. Preparation: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add 1 cup of dry amaranth, stir, then cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes, until the water is absorbed. Cooked amaranth may have a sticky, lumpy texture. It can be used in breakfast porridge, salads, savory dishes, and desserts.
